Concept rebrand of Das Good Cafe, a culturally expressive food spot rooted in Germantown, Philadelphia. Developed as part of a branding initiative for Germantown United CDC , the project centers on creating a vibrant, responsive design system that celebrates Hawaiian, Laotian, and Vietnamese heritage, community gathering, and bold flavor. Through iterative logo development, social media strategy, and packaging design, the brand reflects Das Good Cafe’s role as both a culinary destination and a symbol of neighborhood pride.
SOLUTION
The redesigned identity centers on Das Good Cafe’s mission of celebrating Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander flavors. Inspired by Laotian, Vietnamese, and Hawaiian culinary traditions, the brand embraces a bold, contemporary vibrant color palette, and tropical motifs. I developed a flexible identity system that spans packaging, menus, and social media, positioning Das Good Cafe as a trend-forward gathering space in flavor, culture, and neighborhood hot spot.
